\nMy home was sold in 2009 and the govt collected the fine and court cost
\nThe district court has refused to comply with the mandate of retroactive amendments 484 and 782 leaving me serving a longer sentence than intended by the sentencing commission .
\nDispite being handicapped I have been employed my entire time in prison and still working .
\nI have had good conduct my 25 years in prison with only minor infractions . As stated in my progress report i have been a mentor to the younger inmates to keep them on the right path and assisted strangers without expectation of reward . I have participated in various courses that the prison has to offer and have held volunteer positions throughout the prison.<\/p>\n

I am 71 yrs old and have served 25yrs in prison for a non violent drug crime and have payed a 50,000.00 dollar fine upon the sale of my home in 2009. I still have the support of my family in spite of the undue burdens my incarceration has placed upon them. I have six grandkids ranging in age from 23 to 9 and the sad fact is the only place i ve seen them is in a prison visiting room .
